Conversation at Dinner

deal or no deal Pictures, Images and Photos

This takes place after Rob and I have finished our meal.

Ryan: "mama, I have a deal for you."

Mama: "Ryan, I am making no deals tonight, finish your pasta."

Ryan: "Dada, I have a deal for you."

Dada: "Ryan, we've told you that you need to finish your meal, no deals."

Ryan: "I have a deal for both of you!"

Mama and Dada, in unison: "What Ryan?!"

Ryan: "I don't finish my dinner, and I don't have anything else to eat the rest of the night."

Dada: "Not going to work bud, the night is almost over, and you have to finish your dinner. You can make different deals when you move out."

Ryan: (complete burst of tears) "I don't want to move out!!!"

oops.

We forgot to send him the memo explaining that he will probably, most likely be moving out by the time he's 18!

Try explaining to your 4 year old that some day he might actually want to move out.

Oh, and he only ate half of his dinner after the major episode that followed about moving out.

Made my day!

I have a couple people and companies that I feel it is very necessary to thank!

First being Momdot and Evolve Shower heads. I won the Water Lily shower head on Momdot and received it yesterday. Best. Shower. Head. Ever. Rob installed it minutes within receiving it, and the rest is history! We love it!

Another awesome mama, Kristin at An Ordinary Life, ran a contest for a Free Agent Go portable external hard drive. Something that I really needed for the what seems like millions of pictures that are sitting in my computer. I entered with my spring photos from last year, as spring still isn't completely sprung around here. I received that yesterday as well!

Thank you so much girls!

I'm baaackkk!

You may or may not have known, but I was out of town the last several days. We left 6 days ago, and came home late last night. We were of course out of groceries, so I spent my morning replenishing the food in our house, and trying to figure out Window Movie Maker! Never did...

I'm happy to be back, and get back into the swing of things! I have a blog carnival coming up the first week of May in honor of Olivia's 1st Birthday, with some very awesome sponsors; Graco, Little Miss Matched and more are sponsoring!! I will have a button up for that soon that you can snag. With that said, I have some awesome reviews and giveaways coming up before that as well!

I have LOTS of pictures from our little trip away. We went to visit family, lots and lots of family. We really had a blast, but I am exhausted from driving so much. If I posted the pictures here I would take up at least a whole page, so if you are interested in seeing them visit my 365 photography blog that I started! I will be posting a couple every day to get caught up. I am not professional by any means, I mostly started this to better myself.

I look forward to seeing everyone around!

Eco Store-Pure Oxygen Whitener

About EcoStore USA:

Our eco friendly, plant-based household cleaning products are as effective as the leading supermarket brands, and our body and baby care ranges are gentle on your skin and are simply beautiful to use. Our pet care products let you
spoil your pets with our nourishing, rich blends of ingredients and show them how much you care by reducing their exposure to unhealthy chemicals.

All of our products are made from plant- and mineral-based ingredients, free of toxic chemicals that bring people closer to nature with non-toxic, environmentally safe solutions that also help to reduce our carbon footprint.

Why I love EcoStore:

EcoStore generously offered me a product to review and I chose the Pure Oxygen Whitener. I am on a quest to use healthier eco-friendly cleaning products around our house, especially on the clothing that touches our skin. You would not believe how fast I go through a jug of bleach around here. Whether it be for the laundry or general cleaning purposes, I use it a lot. So of course I was intrigued by the Pure Oxygen Whitener. Here is a demo I put toghether....

A few key points:
  • The odor was almost non-existent, and it did not burn my nostrils!
  • It really worked! I've spot treated and used it as a booster to my whites. I also used as a booster to wash my floors, and they truly felt cleaner than usual after!
  • It's eco-friendly-good for my family, good for the atmosphere
  • Safe for even our babies' clothes
  • Contains oil of citrus and Coconut and other plant-based ingredients
To Buy: You can purchase your own container of EcoStore USA's Pure Oxygen Whitener for just $12. Each container holds 35.3 ounces, and using only 1-2 tablespoons per use makes it go a long way. Be sure to check out their many other cleaning products available while you're there!

Aloha Friday

Aloha Friday is brought to you by An Island Life, head on over, sign mister linky and join in the fun!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

my question this week:

How often do you use your grill in the summer? Do you use it in the winter as well?
We are major grill-oholics here. We grill a lot in the winter, as often as the weather permits us to. In the summer we grill something almost every evening and sometimes for lunch. The veggies, the meat, anything gril-able!
